The Play Way

Support the work

Making creative therapeutic spaces more accessible

Creative therapeutic work can offer meaningful opportunities for expression, reflection, connection and discovery.

But access is not always equal. Cost, location and available resources can make it difficult for individuals, schools and community organisations to access this kind of work.

As The Play Way grows, I want to gradually create more opportunities for creative therapeutic work to reach people and communities who may not otherwise have access to it.

Your support helps make that possible.

How You Can Support

Support a therapy session

Your contribution can help make an individual therapeutic session more accessible to someone who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

Support a group or community programme

Contributions can help bring creative therapeutic work into schools, community organisations and other settings where resources may be limited.

Support creative resources

Art materials and other creative resources are part of the work too. Contributions can help provide things like journals, clay, paints and other materials used in therapeutic and group spaces.

Support the work where it is most needed

You can also choose to make a general contribution, allowing The Play Way to direct support towards the area where it can be most useful at the time.

Where Your Contribution Goes

Contributions will be used thoughtfully, with the intention of extending access to creative therapeutic work.

Depending on what is needed, this may include supported therapy sessions, community or school programmes, groups, or creative materials and resources.

If you would like your contribution to support a particular kind of work, you are welcome to get in touch.

Transparency & accountability

Transparency & accountability

The Play Way is committed to using support contributions with care, integrity, and transparency.

Supporters may choose to receive occasional updates describing how their contributions were used. These updates aim to be clear and specific while always protecting the confidentiality of participants.

These updates are shared thoughtfully and periodically so that supporters remain connected to the work without feeling overwhelmed by communication.

Protecting confidentiality

Protecting Confidentiality

Supporting therapeutic work should never come at the cost of someone's privacy.

Confidentiality and dignity remain central to The Play Way. Any stories, photographs or information about the work will only be shared with appropriate consent, and identifying details will be protected.
