The Play Way

Workshops

Workshops offer facilitated creative experiences for reflection, learning and shared experience.

Through art-making and collaborative activities, participants are invited to engage with a theme in ways that are both reflective and experiential.

Workshops may be offered as standalone experiences or developed in collaboration with schools, organisations and community initiatives.

How a workshop is shaped

Each workshop is designed around a particular theme, audience and intention, with enough structure to hold the group while leaving room for curiosity and what emerges.

Possible themes

  • Emotional literacy and expression
  • Identity and personal stories
  • Creativity and wellbeing
  • Relational awareness and communication
  • Reflective practices for groups and teams

Tailored programmes

Some groups need something more specific.

The Play Way develops tailored creative programmes in collaboration with schools, organisations and community initiatives, shaped around the needs and context of the people involved.

A programme might take the form of a single workshop, a multi-session process, or a longer-term initiative, depending on what the group needs.
